After much deliberation, I've decided that there are quite frankly too many differences in Touchstone Pictures' Hitchhiker's Guide film to the other versions to be covered on the same pages as the other versions of the characters. The plot is part of it, but mainly it comes down to characterization, and even though I like the film, a lot of the characters are wildly different from their novel and radio counterparts.

So I've decided to make pages for the Touchstone versions of the characters, which will be titled with the name "Touchstone" in parentheses after the character name (ex: original character is "Ford Prefect", film character is "Ford Prefect (Touchstone)"). I tried this once before and then changed my mind, but the more I think about it, the more I think we have to do this.
