William Francis Nighy, known as Bill Nighy is an English actor who played Slartibartfast in the 2005 adaption of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
Among his many high profile roles in the 21st century are the aging rocker Billy Mack in Love Actually (2003), Philip, a step-father, in Shaun of the Dead (2004), Minister for Magic Rufus Scrimgeour in Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows: Part 1 (2010) and Davy Jones in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise (2006-2007).
