William Francis Nighy, known as Bill Nighy is an English actor who played Slartibartfast in the 2005 adaption of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
Among his many high-profile roles in the 21st century are the aging rocker Billy Mack in Love Actually (2003), Philip, a step-father, in Shaun of the Dead (2004), Minister for Magic Rufus Scrimgeour in Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows: Part 1 (2010) and Davy Jones in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise (2006-2007).
