Blagulon Kappa is one of at least ten planets orbiting the sun Blagulon. It is rich in methane. The two galactic policemen (Shooty and Bang Bang) who chased Zaphod Beeblebrox had to wear methane parkas to sustain themselves, due to the low Magreathean atmosphere. Ford Prefect recognised they were from Blagulon Kappa due to their parkas, implying Blagulon Kappa being one of few methane planets.

Blagulon Kappa is orbited by a prison moon, and the lifers on the moon sometimes play the game Badabingo.[1]
