Enid Kapelsen was an elderly woman from Boston. She appeared in the book So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish, and the Quandary Phase of the radio series.
She probably travelled by plane regularly, as she saw Arthur Dent and Fenchurch flying naked at one point, and later met them as they were travelling to California to meet Wonko the Sane. However, she did not recognise them the second time.
