Henry Blofeld, along with Fred Trueman, appeared in the Tertiary Phase of the radio series as himself, when Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect materialised at Lord's Cricket Ground during the Ashes.
Blofeld was a cricketer, specialising in batting, and later became a sports commentator.
