Martin Benjamin Benson was an English character actor who portrayed Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz and the Vogon Guard in the The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy TV series.
Benson appeared in film and television roles for over six decades, playing mostly supporting characters or villains. He acted in films such as The King and I (1956), The Strange World of Planet X (1958), Exodus (1960), Cleopatra (1963), Goldfinger (1964), The Omen (1976), and Jesus of Nazareth (1977).
