Stephen Fry is a comedian, actor, writer, presenter, and activist. He played Murray Bost Henson in the Quandary Phase of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy radio series, and was the voice of the Guide in the 2005 film The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Fry is most famous for being part of a comedy double act with Hugh Laurie (who Douglas Adams also worked with) who starred in A Bit of Fry & Laurie and Jeeves and Wooster. He is also known for his roles in Blackadder, Absolute Power, V for Vendetta, St Trinian's (as himself), Alice in Wonderland (and its sequel), Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Bones, and Dangermouse. He was the host of the BBC quiz show QI from 2003 - 2015.
He is also known for his work in theatre, radio, advertising and as a voice-over artist. He has also narrated several audiobooks, including the first novel in the Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy series. He was also the reader for the British versions of all of J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series of audiobooks, and the narrator for the first four Harry Potter video games. He is known for his distinctive voice and received pronunciation.
