Whisky or whiskey (more in Ireland/U.S.) is a type of distilled alcoholic beverage. Ford Prefect, during his time on Earth, sometimes gatecrashed university parties and became intoxicated on whisky.[1] Ford also, on the Thursday of Earth's destruction by the Vogons, bought the man beside him at the bar at the The Horse and Groom some whisky.[2]
